Sheffield-based RSH Group has appointed Mel Woodcock as group sales manager, recognising nearly a decade of progression within the business since she joined following the group’s acquisition of Distinct Disposables in 2017.

 

Established in 1990, RSH Group is a family-run business specialising in industrial rubber, personal protective equipment, cleaning, hygiene and janitorial supplies, and everyday consumables. 

 

Operating across multiple sites, including Sheffield, Huddersfield, and Seaham, the group has grown steadily through strategic acquisitions and now serves customers across a broad range of industries.

 

Mel joined the business as an Internal Sales Executive following RSH’s acquisition of Distinct Disposables, managing new business and a portfolio of accounts. She progressed to Group Telesales Manager, taking responsibility for the internal sales team while continuing to manage key accounts alongside the external sales function. 

 

Her appointment as group sales manager now sees her take ownership of the group’s entire sales operation, both internal and external, with responsibility for team performance, customer relationships, pipeline management, and identifying growth opportunities across new and existing accounts.
