RESTAURANT WEEK || 20TH – 26TH FEBRUARY

Eat Leeds Restaurant Week returns this Februar

Eat Leeds Restaurant Week returns this February with exclusive menus of £5-£25

Restaurant Week returns to Leeds this February in partnership with First Bus for specially crafted, exclusive menus of £5, £10, £15, £20 or £25. Running Monday 20 – Sunday 26 February, Restaurant Week invites customers to dine out at a discounted rate at a select number of bars, restaurants and cafes across the city as part of a weeklong event.

Amidst an ongoing cost of living crisis when cafes, bars and restaurants are experiencing soaring energy bills, Eat Leeds Restaurant Week returns this February with two objectives in mind, support the business, and support the customer.

More than 30 restaurants have signed up so far with more expected to confirm ahead of the weeklong event. Some of the participating restaurants involved so far include; Pizza Freak, where customers can indulge on NYC style pizza, classic Spanish tapas at Ambiente, traditional Chinese cuisine at Mans Market, and fine dining at Harvey Nichols’ Fourth Floor Brasserie.

Run by Eat Leeds, Manager Amy Rolinson, said: “Now in its seventh edition, it was important when creating this Restaurant Week that we took into account the current economic climate our Leeds’ restaurants are experiencing, as well as considering costs for the customer.

“We’ve seen how the past year has caused huge economic strain in the industry, with some beloved Leeds restaurants, cafes and bars closing their doors, and we knew we wanted to help however we could to support the businesses in our communities.

“So we say to all the Leeds foodies out there, if you can, try a new restaurant this Restaurant Week, or revisit your favourite spot, bring your friends and family, and tuck into some delicious dishes and exclusive menus for a fraction of the cost this February.”

Not neglecting the customer, Eat Leeds are once again partnering with First Bus for Restaurant Week, driving foodies into the city on a £2 single fare, hoping to provide a much needed boost for the hospitality sector during a quieter period following the festive season.

Lucy Mottram, Marketing Manager for First Bus West Yorkshire, said: “We’re delighted to continue our support for Eat Leeds in bringing people to new and favourite experiences all over the city.

“The £2 fare for any single journey not only offers great value in budgeting for a day or evening out, using the bus is a more sustainable way to travel and reduces traffic congestion for the benefit of everyone.”

Customers are now able to book their Restaurant Week offer via the Eat Leeds website. Simply browse the list of participating restaurants, view its Restaurant Week menu or offer, download the Restaurant Week voucher for your chosen restaurant and then book a table directly. Customers are reminded to make sure they present the Restaurant Week voucher to the restaurant upon arrival.

As these curated menus are limited edition and available only from Monday 20 – Sunday 26 February, customers are encouraged to book early to secure their tables and to avoid disappointment.
