Nexus Rental Expands Rental Management Proposition Into The Republic of Ireland

NEXUS RENTAL EXPANDS RENTAL MANAGEMENT PROPOSITION INTO THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Leading B2B vehicle and plant hire solution Nexus Rental has announced it will be expanding its market-leading rental management software platform Iris® into the Republic of Ireland (ROI), with the significant milestone marking the company’s first move beyond the UK and a gateway to wider growth into Europe.

The ROI service will add significant numbers to the Nexus supplier network, allowing the business to continue to scale. This brings the total number of vehicles in the overall network across the UK and ROI to over 585,000.

The expansion marks the latest step in Nexus’ growth strategy, with the business previously undergoing a comprehensive repositioning and rebrand to help elevate Nexus’ status in the market and the strategic role of rental in fleet. The business also placed high levels of investment in its technology, an expansion into a second office space in Yorkshire and a record number of vehicles on rent during two consecutive peak seasons.

Scott Haddow, Chief Executive Officer at Nexus Rental, said: “Expanding our rental management service into Ireland marks an important milestone for the business and our first step beyond the UK. It’s a move we’ve taken carefully and deliberately, built on a strong platform, trusted customer relationships, and a clear understanding of where we can add real value.”

“This progress is the result of sustained hard work across the company, from product and technology to operations, commercial and finance, as well as the strength of our supplier partnerships. I’m incredibly proud of the teams who have helped make this possible.”

“We’re excited to bring our tech-led, people-focused approach to Irish businesses, and to support them with the same reliability and service standards our UK customers expect.”

The version of Iris® available in the Republic of Ireland has been developed to fit the needs and challenges of the Irish rental market. Further information about the specifics of the platform will follow.
