DAVID GLOVER - Joint CEO of Caremark

David Glover is a solicitor and a leading UK franchising specialist. In 1996 he was ranked as one of the leading franchise solicitors in the UK. He left the legal profession to pursue his franchising talents further, developing the global brand Subway Sandwiches across the South East.

David joined Caremark in 2014 as the head of the franchise recruitment team, bringing with him extensive knowledge and experience from his previous roles. With this expertise, David gained a deep understanding and appreciation of recruitment and retention challenges and the importance of staff welfare and support.

In 2018, David assumed the managing director role, overseeing all aspects of the business, including operations, franchise recruitment, training, marketing, and IT. Following the passing of Caremark's founder and former CEO, Kevin Lewis, David was appointed joint CEO alongside Lisa Fyfe, Caremark's finance director.

Since becoming joint CEO, David has been instrumental in modernising the Caremark brand while maintaining the company's core values. He has assembled a new senior leadership team who have effectively marketed and directed the company, resulting in stronger relationships, engagement with franchisees, and continued network growth.

Caremark currently operates 132 franchise offices across the UK, India, Ireland, and Malta, with a reputation for providing excellent care and developing award-winning franchise owners.

In August 2022, David was recognised as one of the most influential leaders in the home care sector, earning a place in Home Care Insight's Power List. The list recognises individuals who are shining examples of excellence and innovation and have advanced, flourished, and truly made their mark in the industry that year.
